I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share with you why I started this business and how it all came about.

I started Kristina's Handmade Collection for YOU! I care about your health. I care about your mood, your quality of life and your wellbeing. I know you are probably thinking how in the world do my products have anything to do with any or all of the above but they do - I promise. Let me share a little bit about my health journey and how i started getting into making my own products.

I started making my own homemade products several years ago after dealing with some major health issues. I am an avid learner and dove head first into learning all I could about how to heal my body naturally and to prevent disease from occuring in the first place. I started to educate myself on all of the toxins that we are exposed to on a daily basis and to be honest I was getting depressed the more I read, as it just seemed impossible to live "clean" in such a "dirty/toxic" world. So I started where I could; Eliminating household chemicals, making my own laundry detergent, cleaning products and eating an organic, plant based diet. I then learned that most of the toxins our bodies get ridden with on a daily basis come from the air we breathe and what we put on our skin. Our skin is the largest organ in our body and most personal care products are laidened with toxins like parabens, toluene, phthalates, sulfates, and fragrances just to name a few. ( No, I don't expect you to know what those are or even remember their names, but please do the research! ) These toxins are linked to hormone imbalances, reproductive issues, cancer and heavy metal toxicity and/or toxicity in general. Since I was on my own personal healing journey I knew switching to all natural chemical free and preferably organic personal care products was a must for me so I began switching over my deodarant, shampoo, conditioner, soaps and lotions and creams to homemade ones. It took quite some time to find the right formulas and ingredients that worked best for me, but the time and work paid off. I now have all homemade products and I LOVE them all (and even prefer them over the chemical ridden stuff).

I started helping friends and even strangers begin thier healing journey as they reached out eager to know what to do to heal certain ailments - but truthfully alot of it all health issues stem from our gut and our liver. Everyone can use a healthy gut and every one needs a fully functioning liver to live a long and healthy life. Most products I found online that claimed to be natural were in fact - NOT! There are a few companies out there that are, but do not use organic ingredients or add in fragrances to all the other clean ingredients which in my opinion ruins the whole point! So I began sharing with friends. They would ask for something to help with eczema or an anti aging cream. I began pairing my products with the benefits of essential oils - another one of nature's best medicines. And what solidified it for me was when I went to my dermatologist for my normal skin check and he saw I had healed my Keratosis Pilaris naturally. He then asked how I did it and after explaining he asked if I would be interested in selling it to his patients. I passed at the time as I truly wasn't ready to launch but eventually out of this birthed "Kristina's Handmade Collection" and I am pleased to introduce it to you.

I pride myself in quick order fulfillment, top notch quality, organic ingredients, and everything is chemical and fragrance free. You can pronounce and you know exactly what each ingredient is. I do use essential oils to give everything an extra medicinal/healing boost, (and I might add, I love the way they smell 🙂 ) I also make all of my products in small batches and personally make everything myself. You can rest assured knowing that you are giving yourself and your body some of the cleanest products available.
After all I care about you and your health and want you to live a healthy, long, fulfilled life and would love the opportunity to play a small part in that.
